Ableton Live Instruments Made from Nintendo Samples
For the 129th Free Ableton Live Pack, I've built an instrument rack from Pulse Wave samples of the Nintendo Entertainment System. The instrument has an arpeggiator, delay, filter, and an ADSR envelope all built in. That means you have tremendous amounts of control over the sound.
In order to show the diversity of this one instrument rack, I've tweaked it to make 3 presets for your enjoyment. You can see and hear how it is done in the walkthrough video below.
Although I was thinking about Trance-style chords when I developed the preset, it's certainly not genre-specifc and you can adjust the instrument to fit just about any style you'd like. So I hope you like it, download it below and please share any music you make with it on the Music Made with AfroDJMac Sounds SoundCloud group, where there are over 400 tracks supplied by over 300 people!
