3 Songs, 8 Bit Style on Ableton Push

Ableton Push = The Guitar Player's Friend

My first instrument was guitar.  It was on guitar that I first unlocked and discovered the magic of music.  Its mysterious world began to unfold across the fret board and six strings.  No other instrument makes as much sense or is as familiar to me as a guitar.  Ableton's Push has been a dream come true for the guitarist in me.  The note mode is arranged in fourths, just like a guitar.  Intervals I know on guitar are present on Push.  Patterns my fingers have memorized and can follow in my sleep are once again alive on Push.  It's pretty exciting.  Though it's so familiar, the Push still feels strangely exotic.  Playing it is almost like having deja vu.  I know it's new, but somehow I feel like I've been here before.  Anyway, just to amuse myself, I've been playing some old guitar riff favorites on the Push and I put together this quick collection of songs you already know.  I loaded up my Nintendo Instrument Rack and my 8 Bit Super Tape drums to perform some old favorites on this new instrument, in an old style.  Enjoy this silly little video featuring: "Crazy Train" Ozzy Osbourne    -  "Purple Haze" Jimi Hendrix  - "Ain't Talking Bout Love" Van Halen
